The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. Mark Twain said this and I could not agree more. Yesterday the Perras family, the Carrier family and all their extend family and friends lost someone special and who lived life fully and at the end did not fear death. My cousin, Marjolaine Perras, while surrounded by her husband and three boys, lost her battle to cancer Tuesday afternoon at 1305 at the age of 56. We are all saddened by this loss but will always remember her.
If you would have been in her company for only a moment you would know immediately what an amazing person she was. I still remember every summer going to their family farm for weekends to visit or for family reunions. She had a welcoming smile that made you feel at ease but that was only overshadowed by her open heart.
Tracy mentioned last week that the first time she met Marji -her nickname- many years ago, that she never met anyone so welcoming to the family and treated Tracy just as that, family. She was a fun, loving and caring person that will be greatly missed and respectably honored in our thoughts.
In the picture above on the left is Marji’s sister Francine, second to the left is Marji, then my mother and on the right end is my mother’s sister Marriel.
My thoughts will always be of the positive, fun, energetic women that always treated me as one of her own children.

It is difficult to comprehend when someone so young and who was such an amazing person passes. Likewise it is unfortunate that it is through such losses that we learn how precious life is.
Marji to me will forever be remembered for her infectious smile, as well her kind, generous and caring personality.
My sister Marji passed away at 105 pm october 9th. She fought to live right to the end. The last two days were a time of love and pain for her three boys and her loving husband. My sister was at peace after seing, in the course of two weeks, all her loved ones. On tuesday october 4th, she phoned all her loved ones from her hospital bed to tell them she was ready to go in peace. The last person she wanted to see was her mother who arrived after being with her family on sunday it was very beautifull to see mother and daughter together. After that she said "let me go I am ready" and she closed her eyes and did not awake. She will always be my big sister, my friend, my confidante and now my angel.

Though I only personally met Margi once on a trip to Canada, I corresponded with her via e-mail and phone. My name is Anna Powell and I work for the JM Smucker Company in Chico California. Through her job at Leahy, we communicated often. Even when she said she was not having a very good day she would smile [a smile that would transcend the phone lines] and say that things would get better - and they always did. She had a way of assuring that any situation would be taken care of. I will miss her confidence, her kind heartedness; her way of making me happy....She touched many people with her contagious personality.
My prayers and thoughts are with the Perras family in their loss; know now that she is no longer suffering but in the company of angels who are now comforting her.

its time for me to add my comment Marc thankyou for the farewell to Marjolaine... she was exactly as you and everyone else described her. the picture you posted is the four of us as we were growing up. Marji was my niece and also a friend and confidante.we spent many summers and holidays together. I will miss her wonderful smile and our discussions, we laughed together and cried together..As Francince said she is now our angel love Diane and Rudy
